The Old Testament Survey will examine the historical background, cultural context, and theological contribution of each Old Testament book to God’s progressive revelation. It provides an introduction to the authorship and contents of the Old Testament books. Special attention will be given to important persons, places and events of the Old Testament. In addition to an introduction and overview of each Old Testament book, selected passages will be examined for systematic exegesis and application(s).
