BAS ARCHIVES – Biblical Archaeology Society Archives are specifically designed for educational institutions—for both students and scholars. The site allows users to browse the entire corpus of archaeological and historical material related to biblical studies and perform boolean searches by title, author, subject, any word, issue, date range, or a combination of these categories.
CCEL COLLECTION – The Christian Classics Ethereal Library (CCEL) offers digital classical Christian literature (i.e. Nicene and ante-Nicene church fathers, creeds, confessions, and medieval Christian sources, etc) widely available for research and historical analysis.
EBSCO HOST – Religion & Philosophy Collection™ provides extensive coverage of such topics as world religions, major denominations, biblical studies, religious history, epistemology, political philosophy, philosophy of language, moral philosophy and the history of philosophy. With more more than 300 full text journals, the Religion & Philosophy Collection is an essential tool for researchers and students of theology and philosophical studies.
ATLA Religion Database with ATLASerials combines the premier index to journal articles, book reviews, and collections of essays in all fields of religion with ATLA’s online collection of major religion and theology journals. The ATLA Religion Database includes more than 575,000 article citations from more than 1,679 journals (506 currently indexed), more than 239,000 essay citations from over 16,800 multi-author works, and more than 530,000 book review citations. Full text is provided for more than 294,000 electronic articles and book reviews. This database is produced by the American Theological Library Association.
The American Theological Library Association (ATLA) Historical Monographs Collection — Series 1 presents more than 15,000 titles from 13th Century through the 1893 World Parliament of Religions. The historical time period of the collection reflects upon a time of great doctrinal, social, and organizational change. The collection includes many volumes in Aramaic, Arabic, Greek, Hebrew and other languages besides English, documenting the recovery of languages used during the biblical era and provides an in-depth view of the way that interest in, and knowledge of, biblical languages emerged during the nineteenth century, an important foundation for today’s study and understanding of biblical languages.
The American Theological Library Association (ATLA) Historical Monographs Collection — Series 2 consists of nearly 15,000 titles published from 1894 through 1923. It presents a comprehensive picture of religion in America at the turn of the century. Subjects addressed include the conflict between religion and science, the growing interest in Eastern religions and other world religions, and significant shifts in the religious identification of Americans.
PROQUEST JOURNALS – ProQuest Religion is an indispensable resource for religious studies programs and for anyone researching religious issues and perspectives. This resource presently has more than 150 journals, with most of them available with full-text. The content is full-text, scholarly, and designed to meet the needs of both religious studies programs and general library collections.
ProQuest Religion covers formal theological studies and commentary on topics of general interest from the perspectives of many, worldwide religions. In addition, there are many titles from religious publishing bodies and nondenominational organizations.

TAYLOR & FRANCIS ONLINE – Taylor & Francis Online an innovative program of high-quality, rigorously reviewed, rapid publication open-access journals from Taylor & Francis across science, social and behavioral sciences, and the humanities. The database contains numerous articles that are open source (free) and others that are available through purchase.
JOURNAL OF THE EVANGELICAL THEOLOGICAL SOCIETY – Nearly all past issues of JETS are now available, dating from 1958 to 2023. The search engine, nearly complete, allows researchers to find items of interest quickly and easily. More than 4,000 copies of JETS are printed and distributed each quarter, and the journal goes into every part of the world bringing advanced scholarly writing from a conservative Bible-believing position.
